What is DanK Haus?
DanK Haus Productions is a full service commercial production company based in Salt Lake City, UT. We create authentic, funny, and visually stunning content for brands that are looking to stand out from the competition.
Here at DanK Haus, we consider our style much like that of a mullet, or a mustache. These are generally polarizing attributes, most commonly met with a “Fuck Yes” or a “Hell No.” We aren’t for everyone. And you likely won’t feel a tepid opinion about us. If you’re a “Fuck Yes” type of brand, then we’re fucking stoked to work with you.
We’re here to break down walls. We’re here to bring the heat. Literally and figuratively. If nothing else, you will be entertained.
We work great together, but can work autonomously in the field. Projects start with meticulous planning and scouting, but when things go awry, we're no strangers to unexpected problem solving. After all, isn’t that what an adventure is all about?

Who is DanK Haus?
Dan Krauss
Founder / Director / Photographer
The Founder and Director of DanK Haus. With over 10 years of experience working as a photojournalist and commercial photographer, Dan’s career paved the way for directing full service commercial campaigns. An outdoor enthusiast, he is an accomplished rock climber, mountain biker and skier. He has worked in over 10 countries producing work for clients like Amazon, Pit Viper, Marmot, Columbia Sportswear, BMW, Yeti Coolers, and Red Bull.
Adam Clark
Director of Photography / Editor
A devout skier chasing the endless winter. Adam has worked with the finest snow athletes all around the world. No stranger to living weeks-at-a-time in snow caves and tents in barren tundras, Adam knows how to deliver in the most extreme of circumstances. Adam not only climbed Denali, but skied and documented the experience for The North Face. With over 20 years of experience working professionally behind the lens, Adam is professional as they come. Clients include Jaybird Sport, The North Face, Patagonia, Go RVing, VOLKL, and Oregon Tourism.
Matthew Parent
Cinematographer / Drone Pilot
Matt is our go-to Drone Op and Cinematographer. He has a unique ability to befriend folks across all cultures and political backgrounds, making them at ease in front of the camera. Matt has been trusted with assignments across the globe working with National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Amazon, Sony, and Netflix. A climber and skier, Matt is no stranger to operating a camera or flying a drone safely and efficiently in the vertical realm.

Taylor Morgan
Cinematographer / Colorist
Taylor Morgan is a Filmmaker based out of Austin, Texas. His specialties include Cinematography and Color Grading, but he also sits in the Director's chair on occasion and is a seasoned Editor. Growing up filming skateboarding (he never stopped), he's no stranger to shooting action and being ready to capture anything at a moment's notice. Over the years he has expanded into carefully crafting images of just about anything you care to put in front of him, whether it be from behind the camera, or in the editing suite. Taylor has worked with clients like Tito’s Vodka, Marmot, Mountain Hardwear, Clif Bar, and Nike SB.
Gareth “Gaz” Leah
Lead Producer / Logistical Wizard
There isn’t much Gaz hasn’t done in his life. From establishing big wall rock climbs, to working as a Producer, Photographer, and Cinematographer. He steers the ship smoothly, efficiently, and never leaves even the most minute detail to chance. He is our rock-solid producer, capable of pulling together the most difficult of productions with ease.
Tom Mull
Lead Editor
Tom is the man who brings our work to life. He made a name for himself with the creation of Manramp, the best thing to come out of skateboarding in a decade. He brings the humor and pizazz to our work, making it sing to the high heavens.
